Gentry - Elijah

Ladoga Oct 17 – After an illness of but one week, Elija Gentry died yesterday evening a little after 8 o’clock from pneumonia at the late home west of this city. Mr. Gentry was born in Kentucky and had lived in this part of the county for the past 15 years. He married Miss Leona Wills of Linden and to this union two daughters were born both of whom survive him. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Ladoga. The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and burial will be made at the Indian Creek Cemetery. - kbz
